When to use this tool
For a slide or image attachment, choose pages, PNG/JPEG and DPI. At 72 DPI, one PDF point becomes one pixel; 144 DPI doubles each side.

How to read and check the result
A 612 × 792 point page renders to 1224 × 1584 pixels at 144 DPI. Doubling DPI quadruples pixel count and increases memory. Raster images do not retain selectable PDF text or links.
