How to use

  1. 1Paste a table or import a UTF-8 file.
  2. 2Check the delimiter and header, then choose types, empty values and whitespace options.
  3. 3Convert, review the preview and copy or download JSON.

Good to know

CSV imports default to strings; type detection is optional and 00123 stays a string. CSV cannot retain JSON types; spreadsheets may reinterpret large numbers. Formula protection adds a leading apostrophe.

When to use this tool

Use this to move TSV customer codes or postal codes into JSON. Read the first row as headers and leave type conversion off to preserve leading zeros in 00123.

Worked input and output example

The public example below is processed by the same calculation or conversion code as the tool. No personal input or draft is used.

Example input

id	name
00123	Saemol

Example result

[
  {"id":"00123","name":"Saemol"}
]

How to read and check the result

Quoted commas and line breaks remain cell content. Example values use default string handling. Before enabling number/boolean conversion, check code columns and how blanks differ from null.
